O.k., I've rented my house in Virginia, put most of my belongings into storage, moved down to Pensacola, and bought my travel trailer. Now I am getting all the miscellaneous details taken care of before I set off on my great adventure.
Full time living in a RV is a little different...especially when you are sharing the RV with two dogs and a cat. I am establishing new patterns, i.e., when to bring the dogs in...when to dump the black tank, when to extend or retract the awning, etc. RV protocals are a lot like preflighting an aircraft. As a result, I am writing up checklists so I will hopefully not omit an important item and do something stupid!
Anticipate a departure from Pensacola on or about late August/early September. I plan to travel up the east coast...after Hurricane Irene. As it now stands, I will first visit a friend from 30+ years ago who lives in Jacksonville. Am very excited to get started.
